TASK:
You will have to create different snowflakes, different sizes and forms and paste them on the cardboard and decorate it as a Xmas postcard. You can do as many snowflakes as you want and we will paste some of them on the windows inside the classroom and the highschool too.
DEADLINE:
You will have to give me your postcard (to the art teacher) the second day we are going to be working in class or if you want to finish it at home during the next puente, give it to me next 9th of December at 12:45h at he Art Department (don't forget to write your name at the back cover).
MARK:
You will have a mark and, if it is really good done, you can participate in the contest. There will be a prize for the best Christmas Postcards! You will also have a positive mark if it is chosen ;)
SOME VOCABULARY we are going to work with:
- Snowflake (copo de nieve).
- Snowflake (copo de nieve).
- SYMMETRY: It is the quality of being made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis. (simetrÃa).
- Axis (eje).
- Cover (portada).
- Back cover (contraportada).
- We are going to repeat a unit or a piece, create rhythm (ritmo) and build a snowflake to decorate our postcards.
- Some verbs: fold (doblar), paste (pegar), cut (cortar).
MATERIALS:
- Paper: white and different colors.
- Scissors (tijeras)
- Glue (pegamento)
- Colored cardboards Din A5.
- Decoration to the postcards.
- Markers of different colors.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut the papers to create different snowflakes (videos below)
- Cut the DINA A 4 cardboard to have 2 different DINA A 5 cardboards.
- Write your name + initial of surname + course at the back cover.
- Paste your snowflakes at the cover
- Decorate your postcard, the cover and be as creative as you can!
